Women of United Methodist Temple
Reaching Out To The World Locally & Around The World
Women of the church were first organized in 1955 under the name of Women's Society of Christian Service. In 1974 the name was changed to UNITED METHODIST WOMEN. And now we are known as the Women of United Methodist Temple.
The Purpose is: To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in global ministries of the church.
The United Methodist Temple United Methodist Women (Now called Women of United Methodist Temple) are divided into five Circles.
